Overview
About the Unitree G1 range
The G1 stands 1.32 metres tall and weighs about 35 kg, so it is small enough to transport and set up at a venue. It folds down for storage. Its joints have a very large range of movement, which lets it perform agile moves that draw a crowd. A depth camera and a 3D LiDAR give it a picture of its surroundings, and a microphone array and speaker are built in. The Basic model has 23 joints and is aimed at demonstrations. The EDU versions add a high-power computing module, open the robot up for secondary development and offer more joints, up to 43 depending on options. Battery packs swap out quickly and last about two hours.
