Overview
About the Unitree R1 range
The R1 is Unitree's lightest full-body humanoid. At about 29 kg it is easy to move between rooms and venues, and it is ready to use out of the box. It has 26 joints, including two in the head, which helps it look around and react to people. A binocular camera and a four-microphone array feed a built-in multimodal model, so it can respond to speech and what it sees. Unitree gives open control of the joints and sensors and supports common simulation platforms, which makes the EDU versions useful for teaching. The R1 runs for about an hour per battery, and the battery is quick-release. Custom stickers let you change its look for a brand or school.
